Co-founder of Matriochka Influences, Charlie Trouillebout is one of the pioneers of influencer marketing in France, a craft he has been practising and shaping for 17 years.

Charlie Trouillebout is co-founder of Matriochka Influences, an independent influence, PR and social media agency founded in Paris in March 2014. He leads the agency's strategic planning.

A Sciences Po Paris graduate, Charlie witnessed the early days of influencer marketing: he is one of the very first professionals of the field in France, back when the discipline didn't even have a name yet. Over 17 years, he has helped shape the craft through all its formats, from the first bloggers to TikTok, all the way to brand visibility in AI answers.

His background also includes the client side: as Digital Manager at L'Oréal Luxe International, he developed a first-hand understanding of brands' business challenges. He has worked with major French and international brands on subjects ranging from product launches to corporate communication and social media strategy.

At Matriochka Influences, he brings clients his ability to identify value-creating insights and to turn data into measurable influence programmes. He also developed Matr·IA·chka, the agency's dedicated offer for brand visibility in AI answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude).
